Microsoft test: your Google Search campaign, also on Bing
Same searches on Bing, Copilot and Edge. Microsoft's own import changes a few things, so we copy it ourselves and show you each one.

What changes on the way over
| In Google | On Microsoft | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 3 ad groups, 41 keywords, 6 ads | The same | Copied as they are. No new approval: the words are already approved. |
| Most clicks, $9 limit | Most clicks, $7 limit | Clicks usually cost less on Microsoft. We start lower and watch. |
| Calls through Google's number | Calls through your Microsoft tracked number | So each call is credited to the right platform. |
| Leads from the Google tag | Leads from the theStacc tag, sent to Microsoft too | One tag on your site serves both. |
| $145 a day | $25 a day for 28 days, about $700 | Far fewer searches on Bing in Columbus. Microsoft learns for up to 2 weeks, so expect to use the one 2-week extension. |
Keeping both in step
Edits you approve go to both
One approval, two platforms. Anything changed on Microsoft by hand is left alone.
No Google Import
Microsoft's import re-copies Google's budgets, bids and ad text over Microsoft on every run, and can start campaigns live. We build the copy ourselves, paused.
Microsoft AI Max: off
Microsoft turns it on by default for new Search campaigns since August 2026. We switch it off and check it stays off.
Your ads can also show in Copilot answers
Only with a logo on the campaign. Microsoft does not report Copilot separately, so we cannot tell you how often.
